Convention and Film Festival

Our 15th winter ufo convention was held 26 Feb - 4 Mar 06 at the Flamingo Resort Hotel in Laughlin, NV. We had nearly 800 wonderful open-minded people attending. We had 29 speakers from nine countries, and ten films competed for EBE awards. Four evenings Barbara Lamb again hosted gatherings for experiencers, and Thursday eight of them courageously spoke about their unusual personal experiences. The wine, soft drinks, cheese and fruit provided at the Wednesday meet-the-speakers party made the gathering a great place to visit old friends and make new friends. Jim Rodger managed the Film Festival, as Ken Seddington was again unable to attend. The Saturday night banquet and EBE-awards ceremony was another heart-warming event. As many times before, Bob and Teri Brown, their daughters, the IUFOC staff, the A/V crew, and the Flamingo Resort Hotel staff have provided a great service to truthseekers from around the world. Registration and the vendor tables opened at 1 PM Sunday, and Bob Brown welcomed the crowd at 6:10 PM and introduced three evening speakers covering various aspects of the Billy Meier Case. Wendelle Stevens spoke about experiences in his investigation of the case. One interesting event occurred when he and Lee Elder were led to a meeting in London with Mark Nathan, who wanted to be informed regularly on the progress of the Meier investigations. Nathan had previously written to request a meeting using two different letterheads, one as Secretary General of the Royal Knights Templar of Malta and the other as Secretary general of House of Commons. Though Stevens had ignored both letters, he was intercepted after arriving in London on an unscheduled Laker flight. During the meeting Nathan's private red and white phones had ten short rings. This is the signal that Billy got when it was time to go out for a contact. This signaled that the human "watchers" are being watched by Billy's contacts. Wendelle stayed a week with Billy that trip and found two witnesses that Billy did not know about. When Wendelle asked why others could not go with him, Billy explained that different people with different backgrounds who share the same experience see it differently, and they distort the story. Stevens observed that Billy was picked up one evening after leaving only three footprints in the mud outside his door. When he returned, he claimed that the Pope Paul VI was dead. Billy had observed, through Semjase's viewing devices, a Cardinal poison the Pope's bedtime tea. He was told that the Pope had discovered a $10 million loss and planned to take action. He was told of many other events that would happen including the death of the next Pope, and they happened as described. Semjase then sent Stevens and Elder a note about an ongoing meeting in a certain hotel room. They determined it was the SALT II talks between the US and USSR. She said that those present agreed to continue withholding UFO information from the public. Once a beamship hovered over the farm for 42 minutes making a loud sound. The police arrived, and when the beamship turned up the volume the police jumped into their car and left. It was so loud people three miles away were drawn into the streets. Michael Horn, the Authorized American Media Representative for the Meier case, then spoke about Meier's life and some predictions. Billy had an exciting life in the French Foreign Legion from 1951 to 1963, and he met many heads of state. In 1964 he was guided to India where he took many photos of Asket's ship at the ashram where he stayed. In 1965 he lost an arm in a bus accident in Turkey. By 1973 he and his Greek wife had three children, and he worked as a night watchman. In 1975 his contacts intended for public dissemination began, and they continue today. Semjase, the daughter of Ptah, became his guide. Horn said that both Ptah and Quetzel had bases on Earth until 1995. Meier wanted to shake hands with an ET, but it was not allowed. They did touch a fingertip, and he said it "burned" for a week. He was told to number each sentence spoken by the ETs. Many prophecies were made. A 5 Jul 51 letter warned of ozone changes and mentioned the dissolution of the Soviet Union and two US wars with Iraq, the second leading to near disaster. We were accused of being inconsiderate of Earth, but were told that we would become cosmic beings. The mention of a sulfur ring around Jupiter has recently been proven true. The "Henoch Prophecies" of 1987 predicted the World Trade Center destruction. More recently Meier was told, "We can not win the war on terror by military means," and this statement received much applause from the audience. The third speaker was Christian Frehner, a 54-year-old father of three from Switzerland on his first visit to the USA. He became a FIGU Core Group member in 1987, and he represents Billy who has not left Switzerland for years "except when aliens take him." Frehner has had both day and night sightings of "beamships." He told about Semjase's accident at the Center after which she went to the Dal Universe for seven years to recover. He said that Billy's first contact was Sfath, the grandfather of Semjase. He mentioned many other aliens by name; Quetzal, Pleija, Nera, Menhara, Sana, Ektol, Solar Taljda, Zetlan, Florena, Tanessa, Samjang, Sudor, Inobea, etc. Zeltan was so shocked by the atrocities that he saw here that he had to return to his home system to recover. Sudor was 282 years old and had 80 professions. The youngest ever to visit us was Cladena-Aikarina, age 11, who won the trip in a competition on her planet to name the Meier Chronicles. She called it the "Silent Revolution of Truth." Frehner mentioned one event of 5 June 2001 when Ptah's ship was photographed over the farm. Ptah said that he noticed that three men, who had seen the ship, had driven by each day talking about the event. Two made phone calls to Meier, and one attempted suicide. While he was in the hospital, Ptah erased his memory of the event, leaving him not knowing why he was there. This is why most contact events are hidden. Ferhner said that the Meier Case has two sources - 808 personal contacts and 1005 telepathic contacts. He has 24,000 pages of notes in German. He said that the human spirit is immortal, and there is no higher power between us and creation. All that we do, think, and feel is stored. Between 23 Sep 64 and 2 Jun 05 there have been 21 assassination attempts. He was told that the real population of Earth was 7,503,846,002; about a billion more than the world census, and the biggest threats are overpopulation and terrorism/fanaticism. He said we need to form a multinational peace fighting group. A Q&A panel was formed with all three speakers, and I noted two interesting statements. Contact #340 states that they jump from the Pleiades to Earth in another dimension, and for 5 years the Council an Foreign Relations monitored the farm on camera continuously from a house on a nearby hill. Monday Bill Stanley, a technical editor working at Oak Ridge, Tennessee, provided an excellent Power Point synthesis of several author's research on ancient astronauts. He had a personal epiphany after the death of his mother that led to his search for truth. He first spoke of the 6,000-year-old clay tablets of Summer that typically recorded contracts, marriages, and bills of sale. Many, he said, referred to the gods that lived on the ziggurats and temples, and who flew in the skies. They were called Annunaki. Agriculture and other developments of their culture from metallurgy to written language were considered gifts from the gods. He said the tablets provided early records of metallurgy, music, doctors, lawyers, a bicameral congress, navigation, astronomy, and a standing army. He spoke of Zecharia Sitchin, a linguist and orientalist, who set out to learn who were the "Nefilim" of the Bible. He learned they were also called Elohim or Anunnaki, or "those that came down." The tablets noted 12 "planets" that included our sun and moon and one called Nibiru that was in a highly elliptical orbit. Neptune and Uranus were referred to 6,000 years ago as the "watery twins." Our scientists verified this recently with photos sent by Voyager I. Sitchin learned from the tablets that a moon of Nibiru struck a planet called Tiamat. Part of the remains became the asteroid belt, and about half was shoved inside the orbit of Mars. Over millions of years it cooled and became our Earth. Nibiru is referred to as the "planet of the crossing." Stanley said that the tablets indicated that Homo erectus was upgraded through genetic engineering to help mine gold in southern Africa. The Anunnaki knew when the Earth was about to be flooded. He mentioned that in 10,010 BC the one that the Bible calls Noah was told to build a submersible for his family and grain storage and "the seed of all living things." Then the gods were gone. Stanley said they are still watching us, and we will come face-to-face with them again. Michael Cremo is a researcher for the Bhaktivedanta Institute, co-author of Forbidden Archeology: The Hidden History of the Human Race, and author of Human Devolution: A Vedic Alternative to Darwin's Theory. He describes a human being as a combination of matter, mind, and spirit. He is a member of the World Archeological Congress and has spoken at the Royal Institution in London and the Russian Academy of Sciences. He said that geologist Virginia McIntyre dated an artifact by four methods, and when it was found to be 245,000 to 270,000 years old, the archeologists refused to publish its true age. When she published the age, she was ostracized. One scientist found 20 million-year-old artifacts in Portugal, and after he died his colleagues changed the age on the labels to 20 thousand years. Cremo mentioned "knowledge filtration" - when the facts don't match the theory, they throw out the facts. However, in 1962 The Geologist mentioned a 300 million-year-old human skeleton found below a layer of slate 90 feet down. At the June 2003 World Archeological Congress in Washington, DC a whole section was on ET archeology, indicating that the subject is moving to the mainstream. Some say the composition of the cosmos is 5% ordinary matter, 30% dark matter, and 65% dark energy. Cremo said the same thinking is necessary in biology. Scientists have to introduce new substances such as the soul. Psychokinetics has been documented. Levitation happens. Mental intention can influence random number generators. He recommended a book, Recollections of Death: A Medical Investigation. He said that Ian Stevenson documented 800 cases where young children verified their existence in a past life. He mentioned prominent people that are now studying the paranormal, and he quoted Dr. John Mack from his Passport to the Cosmos; "It appears ever more likely that we exist in a multi-dimensional universe. Cremo said we begin our existence in consciousness and drift down to mind or mind and matter, a process he calls devolution. That is how we get coverings we call bodies. The human form is not an accident of mutation. He said it has been planned for us by higher beings, and he mentioned interspecies embryo transfer. We are hybrids. Geoff Stray from England spoke on Beyond 2012: Catastrophe of Ecstasy, the title of his recent book. He noted many sources indicating that in 2012 people either move on to the next level of consciousness or the "game is over." The final show of X-Files shows a mass UFO landing on December 12, 2012. He said that Robert Dean and Robert Mayan suggest that we join a galactic society then. Contactee Sixto Pax Wells speaks of a 2012 transformation. The alien, J-Rod, told Dan Burrich, who worked at area 51, that The Yellow Book says there will be a physical shift in 2012. The Popol Vu says that 2012 is the start of a new era. Perhaps most importantly, the stone calendar found at Izapa, Mexico dating from the Olmec civilization 1,500 BC shows a 5,125-year cycle ending 21 Dec 12. The year of this "Mayan" calendar has 360 days, while the Gregorian calendar has 365 days and is based on our Earth cycle around the sun. In the Maoris society of New Zealand 2012 is when "the curtain will fall" or the "veil will dissolve." The Hopis of our southwest say we will soon transition to a 5th world. Stray asked what will that time be for you, catastrophe or ecstasy? William Tiller, Ph.D. is a Fellow to the American Academy for the Advancement of Science and Professor Emeritus of Stanford University's Dept. of Material Science with 34 years in academia. He has published 250 papers and 3 books in the conventional science field and another 100 papers and 3 books in the new field of psychoenergetics. Human intentions alter properties of physical materials. His latest book is Conscious Acts of Creation: The Emergence of a New Physics. Tiller spoke on Science Adventures with Real Magic. He reminded us we are spirits having a human experience. He said that we humans are highly malleable to our belief systems, expectations, and intentions. In 2-3 weeks wearing glasses that flipped all we saw upside down, our minds flipped it right side up. When we took the glasses off it took another 2-3 weeks to flip back to normal. He ran many experiments to objectify human intention. For example four meditators, including Tiller and his wife, used intention to; raise and lower the acidity of a substance, increase the in vitro thermodynamic activity of liver enzymes, and increase the in vitro ratio of ATP/ADP in fruit fly larvae. He said all experiments were robustly successful. He said all humans have a Qi or Prana pump. Meditation, etc. strengthens and broadens this life force pump. The space in which they did their experiments was very sensitive. They learned not to let non-participants into the lab, because their bio-field affects the experiments. Much of the presentation was too technical for me to make coherent notes, so a copy of the video would be useful. He concluded that the unstated assumptions of both classical mechanics and quantum mechanics are very wrong. A coupler between particles has to be outside of space/time, and latent energy stored in the vacuum is malleable to our consciousness. Monday evening Bob and Teri Brown hosted a dinner for the Board and all of the speakers and their guests. It was a fine meal and an educational and heartwarming social event. Tuesday Robert Cook, inventor of the Centrifugal Inertia Propulsion engine, spoke about his interesting encounters with corporate and government agencies. He is author of God's Demonstrations, available free at www.forceborne.com. In December 1998 and May 1999 his engine was taken to the "Boeing Phantom works" in Seattle for testing forces on the XYZ axis scale. In 2002 it was taken to Taft, CA for testing on the Cavendish Torsion Pendulum. Cook said two men came up from Los Angeles. When he ran the test they were shocked. They said, "Do it again." Then they made him a verbal offer involving $10 million is escrow and $3 million for his family. When they later faxed him a contract to sign, it made no mention of money. He said, "They tried to take advantage of me. I was born at night, but not last night." Though Cook only had a high school degree, he made a presentation to a group of scientists including Dr. Pauling. He was told they would walk out if he commented on Newton's Third Law. His presentation did cast doubt on John Wallis 'Law of Conservation of Angular Momentum. Cook said they did not realize it dovetails with Newton's Law, and if one goes the other goes. He talked about increased numbers of earthquakes and amounts of greenhouse gasses. He said we have taken 152 trillion tons of oil out of the ground, most out of the Middle East where there have been lots of earthquakes. It gets things out of balance. If the Earth's crust slips we are in big trouble. It slipped 10,000 years ago, and Mayan's predicted white man will cause another slip. Greg Bishop co-founded the magazine, The Excluded Middle, in 1991, www.excludedmiddle.com. He wrote Wake Up Down There and Weird California (1995). He spoke on his book about physicist Paul Bennewitz, Project Beta: How the US Government Created and Alien Invasion. He warned researchers not to confuse the authority of the messenger with the truth of the message. He described the Myrna Hansen abduction case of 1980 that Paul helped research. She saw a cow being lifted up, a triangular vehicle that came close, a bright light, and had missing time. She called police and said she had seen small beings. Paul got Dr. Harder to regress Myrna, which led to an investigation of an underground facility near Dulce, NM. Bishop said that August 8-11, 1980 security guards in the mountains east of Kirtland AFB, NM saw a UFO land behind a storage shed. The guard's radio went dead when he approached it. The AF Office of Special Investigation (AFOSI) investigated. On 13 August, Air Force radars there were jammed by an unknown source. Meanwhile Paul was picking up strange radio signals east of Kirtland AFB and investigating cattle mutilations near Dulce, and when he called AFOSI he spoke with Rick Doty. Bishop said that Paul then gave a talk at Kirtland AFB about these things and most people left, but the NSA guys stayed to learn how he was picking up the signals. This started much intrigue with Doty, Falcon and Bill Moore, author of The Roswell Incident. Bishop said that Moore and Jaime Shandera gave their contacts bird names such as Falcon. He said Paul and Doty went to Dulce by helicopter where staged props were used to mislead Paul. Such deception led to the eventual breakdown and institutionalization of Paul Bennewitz, and he died 23 June 03 at age 75. Bishop did say that both Moore and Doty saw orange balls of light in Paul's home. Colin Andrews, Founder of Circles Phenomenon Research International, spoke primarily about "Operation Blackbird," a 24 Jul - 4 Aug 1990 project in Bratton, Wiltshire he designed to document the makers of crop formations. He worked with Busty Taylor, a pilot, and Pat Delgado, co-author of his first book, Circular Evidence. His latest book is Crop Circles - Signs of Contact (2003). Project Blackbird was funded by BBC and Nippon TV and was investigated by the British Army. The location for surveillance was chosen because it was near Stonehenge, had a crop formation in 1982, and Busty had gotten a picture of a UFO there. Unfortunately the Ministry of Defense owned some of the land, there was a secret operation at Silbury Hill, and the Army got involved. Many witnesses saw three lights over the field on 25 July. A ball of light with a small tail moved behind the trees. Andrews said, "There was interplay between our thoughts, prayers, and emotions." Busty expressed a desire for a circle while flying, and the next day one was in the field he had been flying over. Andrews prayed for a Celtic cross, and it appeared in a field close to his house. George Vernon, who referred to himself as Merlin, felt compelled to make a board game about crop circles, and the next day $18,000 mysteriously appeared in his bank account. In 1990 he got a mental message to drive to Bratton with board games. His engine stopped when he was beside the Blackbird field, and he felt guided to walk to the center. He met a human man in a formation who asked his name. He was told to put the board games in the center of the formation. The he saw three large craft over the field. The surveillance camera video showed three lights over the field. On 3 or 4 August after the large media interest had subsided, a man said they had to give up the video that Nippon had paid for. After much deception, the video is now missing. Andrews closed by saying that, "Humans connected to a higher mind might have been at work," and that some "achieve true spiritual maturity." In the Q&A he said that only he and nine others saw the missing footage. Three pink-red lights formed a triangle with a dark indentation. Nancy Talbot, President of BLT Research Team, Inc., spoke mainly on The Boy From Holland: Consciousness and the Crop Circles. She normally studies physical artifacts related to "anomalous" phenomena, but increasingly events occur where there is no known relevant scientific application available. In her node-length studies of bent crop, she said, "The closer we get to the edge of the circle, the smaller the length of the node. It is linear." She was puzzled how rape seed plants in formations bend at the base instead of breaking since they are very brittle. Formations made during meteor showers attract particles of iron that fall down. Laurance Rockefeller funded part of her work. She found a formation in Canada that had three different layers of the lay of the crop: one chaotic, one radial, and one circular. They found crystalline changes in clay soil beneath circles that would normally require 6-800 degrees C to form, but the crop was not burned suggesting an unknown energy source. She went to visit a boy in Holland living with his parents and sisters. The father asked her to analyze a white powder found on their balcony, and it was pure magnesium carbonate. While there she felt a tingle move up her body from the waist. The tingle stopped, and then she saw a bluish ball of light over a foot wide. This sequence of tingles and balls of light continued for 11 minutes. The father said it occurred because she was there. She was taking pictures outside, and her camera rewound after frame 19. That picture had a strange light streak. She hung a crystal in a bag to a tree in the back yard. The parents saw a ball circle the bag, and a section was out of the back of the bag. Other strange things seen included a pink/purple ball that expanded into a disk-shaped light, and a large sphere of yellowish light. About 3 AM she heard cattle in the pasture, looked out and a beam of light lit up the field and her room. It was like a tube with a spiraling motion. Robert saw it from down stairs and ran up. Again it happened, and the third time it was only 90 feet from the house. Steam rose from the ground. Robert said it was for her. She did not take soil samples because of hoof and mouth disease restrictions. In 2003 as Robert rode his bike a ball of light engulfed him and lifted him up. He awakened 17 miles from home in a field where his sweater was in the middle of a crop circle, his leather jacket nearby, and his bike about ¼ mile away. Later he said a being materialized in his room from what appeared to be a smoke stream and stayed for 40 minutes. It said they were making crop circles, and many of them would appear soon. The mother and sister saw these beings over 20 times. The sister's boyfriend saw the beings, and he was scared away. The beings appear white with large dark almond-shaped eyes. Wednesday Paul Davids, Princeton graduate in psychology and Hollywood producer, writer, and director, spoke on What We Learned From Roswell. He said he was "awakened" to this subject by a close-up daylight sighting. He is co-author of six Star Wars books. His latest documentary, The SCI-FI Boys, focuses on Hollywood's affection for aliens: be they realistic or hokey, evil or enlightened. That DVD is available from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. Davids is best known by his Roswell movie that has now been televised about 100 times. He said that the Air Force had blocked out portions of the documentary to reverse the meaning. Since that movie aired, some developments have been faithful to the case and some have been designed to stir doubt. The Air force claims to have answered an inquiry by the late Congressman Shift. Carl Plock wrote a major debunking book. The Heaven's Gate mass suicide happened. The Secretary of the AF signed off on Roswell Case Closed - The Crash Dummies. Col. Corso claimed "The Roswell ET crash provided technology for the New World Order… Our society has benefited." Portions of the Peter Jennings special described Roswell as a myth. Astronaut Edgar Mitchell said yes to the vehicles and aliens. And a 70-year-old witness to the crash debris, a medical doctor, was reactivated and sent to Iraq. Walt Disney's Chicken Little turned into a major UFO crash-retrieval movie, and Michael Eisner introduced the excellent Alien Encounters documentary. At the 50th anniversary celebration, in 1997, Dr. Vernon Clark announced that the crash debris provided for analysis was not from Earth. Unfortunately the TV series, Roswell, was reduced to a sit-com. Davids closed by saying that all affidavits in Roswell Case Closed were by people who were not there, yet the one by Glen Dennis was dismissed, though he was there. Scott Ramsey titled his presentation Aztec 1948, Recovery at Hart Canyon. His historical research has taken him to 29 states interviewing over 60 first and second-hand witnesses, and he has archived 2279 documents from the AEC and the USAF. His documentary is available at www.aztec1948.com. He said that, in Frank Skully's original story, 8 or 9 scientists were represented by "Dr. G. Silas Newton has been wrongly discredited as a "con man." Ramsey discovered that all the good UFO cases went to the 4602nd Intelligence Squadron, a group of 297 people, while other cases were handled at Wright-Patterson AFB. The 4602nd mission statement said they collect all evidence from the sky. When police got involved in a UFO case in Cuba, NM Dr. Ed Teller and Dr. Lincoln Lapaz said, "Leave it alone." The FBI was told to stay out of the Aztec case, but they did keep an open file on Silas Newton until 1972. The Aztec vehicle was virtually intact, more like a landing. However 19-year-old Doug Nolan looked through a damaged window and saw two beings slumped over a console. Otto Krause said he took part in the recovery. Ken Farley said the vehicle was about 100 feet in diameter. Fred Reed, a retired AF intelligence officer said the cleanup took about two weeks. It was delayed until they built a road to Hart Canyon that would support the weight. He asked that his interview not be released until after his death. Ramsey showed a picture of the mystery road. That road was not on the maps that showed the oil field roads, but it was there in 1948. Don Ledger, a pilot from Canada, spoke on the Shag Harbor Incident in Nova Scotia, 4-10 Oct 1967. He is author of Maritime UFO Files, Swissair Down, and Dark Object co-authored with Chris Styles on the Shag Harbor incident. He said the first night about 40 people reported UFO sightings. Now there is a sign at the site that says, "Sight of 1967 U.F.O. Incident. Lots of calls reported a pale-yellow, lens-shaped light. The object hit the water, floated, and then submerged. Two fishing boats in the pass reported a 400-ft by ½-mile line of foam, and it was not normal sea foam. Two boats searched for possible survivors until 0330, Thursday, 5 October (day 2). Canadian Forces HQ requested a unit do an underwater search ASAP. Divers arrived on day 3 and found no debris. HQ said it doesn't matter, keep the men searching. On Saturday the Halifax Chronicle Herald headlines reported the "Shag Harbor UFO" in red. A second set of divers was off Government Point 23 miles NE in Shelburne Harbor. Two objects were reported there, one disabled and the other rescuing, "providing assistance to creatures." There were five witnesses to the Shelburne segment. Chris and Bob were told not to talk about it. A diver, Harry, said, "It was no 'bleep' Russian sub." One specialist said he was kept below decks for seven days, but he heard the divers talk. There were seven vessels camped over the sight. An electronic intelligence specialist on an Argus sub-hunting plane said, "The General chewed us out for talking." A weapons technician said, "Col. Rushton briefed me." Radio officer Lou Sloan said, "You know there were two objects." Government Point had a US facility reading sensors sprinkled all over the ocean bottoms. Two destroyers were sent to intercept a Russian sub heading to the site. Ledger noted that the spy, Johnny Walker, told the Russians about the base and they intentionally altered their sound signatures making us think they had four times as many subs as they really had. An intelligence guy on the Argus reported the object flew 7700 MPH over Siberia, stopped, and then was tracked at 4400 mph to Shag harbor. On day 7 Mr. Cameron reported to the RCMP that he, his wife and four others saw two UFOs move up and away from the waters nearby. Ryan Wood titled his talk Majic Eyes Only, reporting on ten years of research by the Majestic Documents Investigation Team. He has a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from "Cal Poly," and he manages the content of www.majesticdocuments.com. As a MUFON Investigator he specializes in strategic problems: unquestionable proof, improved media acceptance, and a needed dramatic membership increase for funding. Wood followed up on the good work of Len Stringfield on crash-retrieval cases. He mentioned apparent reasons for crashes as accidental, shoot downs, and "deliberate seeding on kindergarten planets." In calculating authenticity of reported crashes they formed seven classes of information and assigned (weighing factors): witnesses (3), sources (5), zingers (4), content (2), chronology (2), no anachronisms (4), and forensics (5). Of the 74 crash cases researched, 6.0% rated high authenticity, 18.9% medium high, 73% medium, 1.4% medium low, and only 3 cases were considered hoaxes or results of natural phenomena. MJ-12s 1954 Special Operations Manual 1 - 01 directed how to handle crash evidence, and it described EBE Type I and Type II, the typical gray being with a large head and eyes. There were 13 events before the Roswell crash, 8 in 1947, and 10 in New Mexico. He also mentioned an Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit that was the source of many papers leaked to Tim Cooper. Phone logs in the White House showed a spike in the first half of 1947. A Moondust report mentioned an explosion/crash in Somalia causing their President to ask for our help, and we took it away. And, the USAF Scientific Advisory Board knew about the crashes. A Crash Retrieval Panel that evening included Paul Davids, Scott Ramsey, Don Ledger, and Ryan Wood. The first question was, "Why do they crash?" Scott said some from radar and some shot down. Don said perhaps a malfunction, but he heard that the Shag Harbor vehicle had a midair collision over Siberia. Paul said the rancher Brazzel near Roswell heard a massive thunderbolt during a storm, but others say that that vehicle and occupants may have been given to us. [I heard the Roswell crash was a test to see if we would rescue the occupants or capture them.] Ryan mentioned radar affecting some of their systems, lightning, shoot downs and "seeding the planet." Second, "Why the cover-up?" Scott said that the public reaction would be bad. Don mentioned that you couldn't guarantee privacy. Paul said Moses spent 40 years in the desert waiting for another generation better prepared. Ryan said too many unknowns were a key to the cover-up. When someone asked, "Does the cover-up involve the hybridization program?" Ryan mentioned Above Black where Dan Sherman said he was told he was one of many who had been genetically engineered to be better telepathic communicators. When asked, "Why hasn't the US made efforts to go back to the moon?" someone answered that Hoagland saw constructions there and said it is not ours. Thursday Barbara Lamb, the Clinical Psychologist hosting the daily "Experiencers' Gatherings," described the anatomy of a typical abduction and its effects on the individuals. She said, "There is opportunity for therapeutic work when experiencers rise to the level of conscious recall." Several people in the gatherings had not shared their stories before, even with their spouses. Debbie, from Maine, saw a starship out the window when she was 3 or 4 years old, and she felt a strong sense of longing. She felt, "I don't belong here." In her late teens she was out walking about 10 PM when something made her look up. The starship was about 200 feet above her. She said she sent a telepathic "Hi, I know you." They responded that they had been watching her. After that she became more telepathic and had enhanced abilities in reike, healing, and readings, and she learned to do past life regressions. She said her people were 6 to 7 feet tall and from Galena. They are part of the Galactic Federation with 350 ships here, and their ships are powered by thought. Twelve had crashed. Some of their souls are incarnated in human form. Rev. Madera said she works for the Galactic Federation. In 2001 she was resting, and suddenly she was on a ship and on a committee where she was to be in charge. They dressed her in a white robe and said it would protect her energy. She felt much love from the others there. She said that 1 Jul 05 she was meditating on a church project when she was given a choice, to leave the planet or work as a peace minister. She stayed, and now she works on the Department of Peace campaign, World-wide Peace Summits in 11 countries, and the UN Peace Pals art competition. Sue said she has been involved on this planet for 2000 years. Her people have gathered various species, including whales, to raise on another planet. She spoke of Jesus, and said his body died, but not his soul. She also said, "God created everything." and "Aliens messed with us." Marie was very young when she felt she was in a glass box while aliens looked over her. Her brother, sister, and even grandparents in rural Alabama all had experiences. She married a soldier and moved to Tucson. She was driving a Jaguar 90 mph through the desert when it lost all power. She got out and saw tracks going over a little hill to a little building with a man sitting at a square window. She said, "I stared at him, but he did not look at me. I knocked. He looked at me and said, 'Go back to your car, and I will send help.'" The three look-alike six-foot guys in jump suits came in single file, opened the hood, and one came around and said in a monotone, "There is nothing wrong with your car." Years later an Illinois paper mentioned UFOs seen in Oracle, AZ, where she had been stopped. Barbara, a contactee for 60 years, said Nordic people followed her to California when she was 18. Her first child died shortly after birth. During one abduction she remembers her husband in bed and three grays. On the ship were Nordic people and a tall, pretty, red-haired lady who said, "Well, we haven't seen you for a while." Barbara asked, "Where are the grays." The lady said, "Oh, you mean the androids. We were so busy we sent them to get you." She said they were working for the good of the Earth. They knew she tried to make contact through Van Prague, but they were too busy for the contact. Barbara connected her "lost" children to the space people. Before introducing the next speaker, Barbara Lamb mentioned a contactee who became a pilot of an alien vehicle after his death here. Marie, the journalist who makes documentaries, said she went to Brazil to visit John of God. She said she had a small health problem involving her knee. She asked for help for her knee and for an interview. She was told to come back the next day. That night she dreamed that John of God's secretary had her taken to a homeless shelter where John of God came and raped her. She dreamed that when she got to the hotel her money was gone, thinking, "How will I get home." Then she woke. She mentioned it at breakfast. Someone said, "Everyone has powerful dreams. Don't worry. The negative things come out first." She asked John of God for a healing, and he said she was not ready for that yet. At lunch she met a man who said John was a womanizer. Marie said that not one person was healed in the ten days she was there. Maurice said he woke feeling someone with large dark eyes shoving something up his nose. He feels that his rights have been violated, because he had not given permission. He said that we should stand up for our rights. He would love to talk with them about it. An unnamed teacher said, "Aliens do to us what we do to each other." She went to an event at Los Alamos, NM on 4 Aug 04 staying with two other attendees. She said her companion encountered two guards. She woke with a black eye. A friend told her there was some kind of government program where they take people and remove alien implants, and that causes the black eye. She said she thinks her family has had a number of alien and government abductions. Mark Kimmel founded and ran three venture capital funds before retiring in 1996 with 20 years in that career. He has degrees in engineering, marketing, finance, and psychology. Since 1987 he has studied messages provided by ET, and he is author of Trillion, Decimal, and Creating the Cosmic Paradigm. He has had interviews with over 200 contactees. He opened his presentation by asking the audience to stand and then sit according to individual response to three questions. He said that "market survey" leaves about 10% of most audiences standing. In our audience there were nearer 30% still standing. He suggested that those 30% were contactees who knew why they were here and who were in control of their lives. He said that once he saw a defense contractor's binder full of flying saucer pictures, but he forgot about it because it was outside of his reality. He learned about bases on the backside of the moon and then forgot about it. But in 1987 things changed as he remembered entities that came into his room at night. After he got his MA in Psychology in 1996, Trillion started "spilling out of" him. Then he became involved with Dr. Greer and the Disclosure Project, and he said nothing in the book had to be changed. He became a "knower rather than a believer." He provided a long list of subjects he had studied: Sitchin's work on ancient history, the Bible, pyramids, Mayan and Hopi cultures, the 1897 Aurora, TX crash, the 1942 "battle" over Los Angeles, the 1952 Washington, DC sightings, crop circles, the 1999 COMETA Report, and Margaret Thatcher's comment on the Rendlesham Forest encounter, "You can't tell the people." He became concerned about implications in many areas: media, government, religion, economics, science, medicine, psychology, and also the personal implications. He refers to aliens, angels, and celestials as ET. Then there are apparent hybrid "critters." Kimmel said that ET guided a man to tell him that they were going to take some people off the planet soon. He said that there were a large variety of aliens out there. He paraphrased many messages from 4th-density or higher beings: they have been taking care of the San Andres fault; they seeded plants and animals here including red, white, yellow, and black men; we have an environmental crisis with global warming and chemicals; electro-magnetic radiation affects tissue growth; cell phone radiation affects are buried; they are here to help us, but not to save us; you can help by a spiritual awakening. Kimmel said this is a special planet in a shift that hasn't happened before. He said there is a list of executive orders that can be put into effect at any time. We are slaves to "the system," living paycheck to paycheck, and everybody I know is stressed and bombarded by TV. There is an elite group in control of our financial world that probably has off-planet assistance. ETs say we cannot solve the problem in 3rd-density terms. He said we are eternal spiritual beings, "eternity fragments." He said, "I chose to be here now, to play this roll." We need to be the best we can be, and to have a personal relationship with the creator. Corso's book and became concerned about policy issues involving ET. Helen Littrell, the mother of Marisa, and Jean Bilodeaux, UFO investigator, freelance writer and newspaper correspondent, are co-authors of Raechel's Eyes, and they took turns speaking about that book. I will designate who said what by noting (H) and (J) each time they switched. (J) I live in an area so remote I drive 70 miles on a dirt road and 30 on a paved road to get to the nearest town, and it only had 40 people. She likes it there and said the ETs do too. Her local newspaper serialized 200 UFO encounters. Helen read them and contacted her. (H) When I read the articles I heard strange noises and saw things moving. I called Jean and told her about my daughter who had a human/alien hybrid roommate. (J) Jean said that Helen sounded so sincere she thought others should hear her story, so they began the investigation. Marisa was a joyful child, a peacemaker in a family of squabbles, but her diabetes led to blindness. Marisa wanted a college degree so she could better help others, but she needed a roommate to help pay expenses. The college helped find Raechel, whose adoptive father was a Colonel in the USAF. (H) Marisa started losing sight in her other eye when she was 15. Fortunately prisoners were used to put her textbooks on audiotape. She did get her masters and worked as a counselor. (J) After a few weeks of living with Raechel, Marisa became suspicious. Raechel had no favorite song, no boyfriend, etc. (H) While visiting Marisa, Raechel came in and said, "I have to get something." She always wore a long sleeve jumpsuit and wrap-around sunglasses with a bandanna over her head tied below her chin. She tripped as she hurried between us, and I grabbed her arm. Her skin felt cool and spongy like mushrooms. Her glasses slid down, and her huge avocado-green eyes slanted to the temples and had vertical pupils. She was more frightened than I, but I felt compassion. I felt love. Her skin was orangish with a greenish tint. Her reddish-blonde hair was rather skimpy. Her father had rescued her from a crashed spaceship. He took her to the clinic of his secret base, and they felt a bonding. He was only allowed to adopt her if she became part of "The Humanization Project" and integrated into society. (J) Rachael had special food delivered to her. Though she and Marisa did take walks together and double dated, giggling about fooling the boys. Raechel became the sister that Marisa always wanted, and vice-versa. One day Raechel and all her stuff were gone. A note on the mirror said, "Dear Marisa, You have been my first and only friend. Loved my time with you. I left you a gift." It took Marisa about ten minutes to realize what that gift had been - her sight. She could read again. Jean regressed Helen to a strange encounter in Raechel's home when her hand would not come off the kitchen counter. (H) I saw tanks containing two rows of fetuses, six on a side. Raechel stood on the other side of a glass window. She said, "Come through." She said, "I'll put my finger on the inside and you put your finger against mine." I did and went through the wavy window. When she found herself back in the kitchen she "felt like the counter wanted to keep her hand." The drink containers that were brought to Raechel had a triangle with three horizontal lines in it, parallel to the base. (J) Jean said the same insignia was on the car that brought them. In 1972 the College sent a statement confirming that Rachael had been a student there, but they could not find the lady that signed it. Helen had had a series of miscarriages. It appears that Raechel and Marisa were actually sisters. She came from Zeta Reticula. Jorge Martin, from Puerto Rico, is a journalist and editor of ENIGMAS del Milenio magazine. He studied Political sciences at the university. He authored Vieques: Caribbean UFO Cover-up of the Third Kind, and spoke on that subject. He said that the people of Puerto Rico became US Citizens in 1917. There are seven small islands around the main island, and Vieques is the largest of those, off the east end near Roosevelt Rhodes NAS. In 1991 there were many UFO encounters in the SW of Puerto Rico, but the DIA liaison officer in their National Guard ridiculed them. In 1947 the US Navy stated an interest in Roosevelt Rhoads, and Admiral Forestal (MJ-12) was instrumental in the Navy getting Vieques. Truman had appointed their Governor. In March of 1999 the Navy dropped two bombs off the bombing range on Vieques killing a man. That caused many people to come there to protest to get the Navy out. When we investigated UFOs there, the people talked. Lights of the community were reflected off of a large triangular vehicle. A man reported an object that came out of the side of a mountain. A huge object came out of the water. One shown a green beam down, and a whirling water column came up into the craft. Most fishermen have seen objects come out of the water or move under the boat. An alien with a "bulging stomach" walked across a road. After a large disk disappeared into Kiani Lagoon and turned the water yellow, the USFWS gained control of the area. A saucer was seen going into a large cigar-shaped craft. Two small gray beings with large black eyes were reported. In 1982 five of them were seen near the commanders flag poll making strange sounds, and many small creatures were seen in the rainforest area. Recently a large craft escorted by four smaller ones landed in the bombing area now turned over the USFWS. Friday George Knapp presented information from his new book, Hunt for the Skinwalker. Knapp is an eight-time Emmy Award-winning journalist and anchor on CBS's KLAS TV in Las Vegas. He was the only journalist allowed to accompany the NIDS research scientists when Bob Bigalow bought the very strange 480-acre Gorman Ranch in NW Utah. On day 1 a chest-high wolf 10 feet away grabbed a calf's head and did not react when kicked in the stomach. It was shot three times with a 357 magnum with no reaction. Then, after the 5th shot with a high-powered rifle, it wandered off. Pieces of its flesh "seemed to be rotten." Knapp said the similar Dyer Wolf became extinct 10,000 years ago. He said this was a dangerous project, both professionally and physically. The Unita Basin had been a hotbed of UFO activity for a thousand years. The population is about 10% Ute Indians with many devout Mormons and people attracted by an oil boom. Logs of the tribal police and the county sheriff include many strange sightings. In 1975 there were many cattle mutilations there. Knapp described a skinwalker as a Native American witch, an evil shape-shifting being. He said the Ute's had been very hard on the Navaho, and they racked up some bad karma. They think the Navaho put a curse on them. The ranch had been vacant when the Gormans bought it. There were heavy locks on all doors, and their contract forbid digging without permission. Many strange things happened to them. When he stopped for a drink, a post-hole digger he had been using disappeared. Two days later it was found in a tree. After groceries were taken to the house, suddenly they were all back in the car. Also; voices were heard, lights came from the ground, a black dog with a big head appeared, a hyena-like animal ran up the ridge and "poof" disappeared, blue orbs became confrontational, big chunks of soil disappeared, and an RV-like vehicle flew away when approached. One night all six cats disappeared, never to return. Three dogs were "led out of the tree line by a blue orb." They yelped and turned into three big greasy spots. Of his 60-some cows, 14 disappeared. Gorman found one cow outside of the fence with two broken legs. After he got a gun, it was no longer there. Later he found it with four broken legs. His four 2000-lb bulls were all found crammed into a trailer, apparently in a trance. His voice woke them. Bigfoot creatures ripped the guts out of cameras. Knapp said we live in a multi-universe. "The job of science is to investigate the unexplained, not to explain the uninvestigated." Maurizio Baiata is a seasoned investigative reporter, UFO investigator, and video producer from Rome, Italy. He published Phillip Corso's book, The Day After Roswell, in Italian in 1997, and his dairy, Dawn of a New Age, in 2003. He currently is Managing Editor of Area 51, the UFO and exopolitics magazine of Italy. Bob Brown announced during the introduction that both Baiata and the IUFOC ignored legal papers designed to block this presentation. The paper to the Congress from Corso Holdings, LLC, was sent from the Fax machine of UFO Magazine [USA]. Baiata suggested that state restrictions on openness in Italy are reduced now while worse things happen within UFO organizations. He said Corso not only allowed his diary to be published, but he attested to its truth in an affidavit. He said that Corso had two heart attacks. After the first he said he "felt a light and fingers over his chest" that took care of him. When he gave his 176-page diary "manuscript" to Baiata, Corso said, "Maurizio, you must publish it as soon as possible." Two video clips were shown. In them Corso mentioned that, concerning the Army's Roswell debris, Gen. Trudeau said, "Phil, watch things for me, because the rest do not understand." Also mentioned were; of a doctor that photographed a rabbit's brain waves, human cells being electrical devices that vibrate, and cancer resulting from the body "getting out of resonance." Corso said he was not "up on what was going on in Area 51," though he knew Ed Teller. He also mentioned Truman, Ike, Kennedy, and Wilbert Smith as people who knew about flying saucers. During the lunch break, Dr. Sun Shi Li, our Director from China, gave an unscheduled presentation. Attendance was good since the hotel provides excellent sandwiches and snacks in the convention lobby. He related that he was notified by the Chinese government of a large object slowly approaching China from Russia, moving to the SE. Thousands of missiles were waiting for the order to fire. Top military officials were in conference, considering the consequences of a mistaken identity. The Commanding General of the Armed Forces ordered them to coordinate with Dr. Sun to avoid a mistake. They didn't fire. They paid him great respect and allowed him to view a pile of documents. Dr. Sun mentioned one case where an ET approached a farmer and asked him to hang on to his back. He said he was flown, without a vehicle, for many miles and then brought home again. Dr. Sun's advice to the military was to become acquainted with such events throughout the whole world, and to do all they can to avoid initiating a hostile act. He wants to gather leaders of the world to confer on our reaction to the ET presence, starting in New York City. He said ETs have concern for us at heart, and they have been here for a long time. He also said that he thinks that the first letters of the oldest Chinese alphabet clearly represent an ET presence. Bill Ryan, from the United Kingdom, was trained in mathematics, physics and psychology at Bristol University. For 27 years he has been a management consultant for major corporations, and never connected to military, government, or formal UFO groups. He became aware of Project Serpo, "the Zeta Reticulan Exchange Program," through a private e-mail discussion group of Victor Martinez in November 2005. He volunteered to post at www.serpo.org the series of releases that came from the anonymous informant through Victor. He suggested this might be of "immense importance." The release said that Serpo was a planet of a double star system about 38 light years away, and 12 military officers were taken there in 1965 with 90,000 pounds of food and equipment. The plan was to stay ten years. One died of a pulmonary embolism en-route. One died by accident, and two decided to stay. They lost track of time, and eight returned after 13 years, in 1978. Now all those who returned have died. He said that Victor knows the name of the source, but agreed to use "Request Anonymous" in the releases for the retired government official. Victor is a Los Angeles-based retired English teacher. His UFO- thread list includes about 120, mostly high profile, people. Though Victor "cleaned the releases up a bit," Ryan just copied and pasted them to his web site. Some scientists on the list noticed anomalies in the precise figures on astronomical data. Some thought it was a distant binary system, but the Zetas described it as a close binary system. Ryan said we need patience in such matters. He reported that Anonymous said the laws of physics don't apply in exactly the same way there. The 3000-page DIA report referenced hundreds of pages of formulas to explain the anomalies. He said that the late Carl Sagan signed the executive summary of the report. The Serpo day is 43 hours, with 5 hours of twilight. They don't use money. He said the backbone of their economy is a free energy device. You can plug anything you want into it. Bob Collins' book, Exempt From Disclosure, mentions a similar device. Ryan showed a hard copy of the releases to a retired Air Force Lt. Col with 33 years in Intelligence and watched his reaction. He said, "My God! How could anyone release all of this classified information? Yes, it is real." Ryan said he received lots of comments from lots of "insiders" who do not want their names known. Rick Doty confirmed the Roswell components of the story. Anonymous said that life was getting difficult for him after the 21 Dec 06 release. Then on 24 Jan 07 Ryan started getting the information directly from Anonymous. Others have reported that the real name of the program was Crystal Knight. Budd Hopkins and David Jacobs, well known abduction researchers and authors, teamed up to present Transgenic Beings, about the emerging evidence for hybrids having an increased presence in our society, and even living among us. Hopkins' latest book, Sight Unseen, was co-authored with his wife, and the latest edited and published by Jacobs, UFOs and Abductions: Challenging the Borders of Knowledge, has ten authors. Hopkins: Barney Hill reported giving a sperm sample, as described in Hopkins' 1981 book, Missing Time, but he said, "Nobody wanted to deal with the reproductive aspects of it." Babies were presented to ladies onboard the ships. Kathy Davis, in Intruders, was shown a child partly like us and partly like them. Do these children grow up? Jacobs: The "needle in the navel" led us to think it was an experiment, but since the 1990s the experiment model no longer held. Egg and sperm extraction was accompanied by some kind of neural engagement. He used the word "incubatorium" for a wall of fetuses in jars. He reported stories of human and hybrid children playing with dolls, and hybrids being taught to care for live children. He mentioned early, middle, and late stage hybrids. A woman was shown an interactive screen with an alien running from humans. She maneuvered a saucer to pick it up. He said, "Lots of rescue scenarios are used." Hopkins: He reported a 16-year-old girl taken for an interview in the 1950s by a man who made her feel strange. He seemed to know all about her. He said, "I know what you did with your boyfriend yesterday." She had lost her virginity. He offered her a job involving no papers, no money, no company, just doing what she did yesterday. She said, "No." One lady wondered why they were taking a scoop of her flesh. A lady was rapidly asked many questions telepathically. They wanted to know how to fit into our world. One was shown a man in a chair, and told he was evil. They gave her a gun and told her to shoot him. When she refused, the man in the chair became an alien, and the gun was gone. They were testing her. They seem to be picking up our emotions of parenthood, of caring for children. Jacobs: He described a lady at a table with several hybrids, answering questions about computers, etc. She was told she would not remember, because she was giving them trouble by remembering. A woman, with other humans, said she was taught how to control crowds. Five adolescent boys seemed "somewhat different." She and the boys went to a store so she could teach them how to buy something. Jacobs said that in the last eight months he is hearing very different accounts from people he has worked with for years. Perhaps it is the late stages of a long program. Hopkins: We of the core group have never had to "take anything back." We have been extremely cautious in our reporting. Saturday Haktan Akdogan, our Director from Turkey, spoke on the importance and implications of ET disclosure. His 1996 weekly documentary, UFO Reality, was broadcast on two national TV channels in 1996 and again in 1999, and he hosted a weekly radio program about UFOs for a year. He founded the Sirius UFO Space Sciences Research Center and the Sirius Publishing House, www.siriusufo.org. He opened the first UFO Museum where city officials participated. He showed many pictures; a rock in Eastern Turkey carved like a space ship 3000 years ago, a 240-year-old painting with a flying saucer sitting in the foreground, and a photo with 26 objects in loose formation. He said that our CIA requested all of Turkey's UFO files. Several people reported seeing a strange humanoid in the sky when a craft joined with it. A video showed two lights over Ismir that moved about each other silently for 12 minutes. A strange object was near the beach for 3-4 minutes in daylight before speeding up and away "in the blink of an eye." One luminous object hovered in the same place for four hours. Akdogan said he thinks that UFO/ET disclosure will eventually unify mankind in peace. He may be on TV again this fall, and he may get corporate backing because of the good press coverage. Peter Robins describes himself as a researcher, investigator, and writer for three magazines, a lecturer, and activist. He is co-author of Left at East Gate: A First-Hand Account of the Bentwaters-Woodbridge UFO Incident. He said he had spoken all over this country, but this was his first visit to the IUFOC. He was amazed at the efforts and skills of those who organize and produce the convention. He spoke on Orgone Energy, Dr. Wilhelm Reich and UFOs. Orgonomy is the study of how energy systems function in living entities and other systems. He said, "I saw a "cloudbuster" draw energy form the sky and change the energy of the cloud system, calming the sky." Wilhelm Reich had Christian and Jewish parents, but he had no religious training. WW I destroyed the Reich properties. He worked with Sigmund Freud in the 1920's, and joined the communist party in 1927. The party fired him in 1934 when he put his family ahead of the party, and he became anti-communist. He then settled in Queens in New York City and worked on medical orgonomy. He developed the orgone energy accumulator for scientific and medical uses. One experiment with Einstein appeared to violate Newton's Law. Robins said that Helen Ducas, possibly a government agent, screened Einstein's mail. Then Mildred Brady wrote a biased and distorted article on Reich. Reich built a home on a lake in Maine, now the Reich Museum, to continue his experiments. Unfortunately a small amount of radium in one experiment caused some scientists to get sick. UFOs started appearing over his property. On 10 Oct 54 he trained the orgone accumulator on a large UFO. Repeatedly, it dimmed and receded and then came back. President Eisenhower asked him to send future communications on UFOs and his weather research to the USAF and the CIA. He wrote a report to Eisenhower titled "Atoms for Peace." However the Federal Drug Administration was building a case against him. The interstate shipment of an orgone accumulator, a medical device, (unauthorized by Reich) resulted in a contempt charge, a conviction, and his incarceration at age 59. The government then burned 8,000 pounds of his papers, books, and equipment. Without evaluation, he was declared schizophrenic. He died on 3 Nov 57, seven days before his scheduled release, officially from a heart attack. Robins said he did suffer from high blood pressure, was overweight, and was a heavy smoker. Chuck Wade gave a brief unscheduled presentation during the lunch break. He mentioned receiving a package of information from Col. Corso in August 1997. He gave a copy to the Governor of New Mexico and put the original in a vault. It said that in 1955 Los Alamos had a free energy machine that was about six feet cubed and weighed six tons. It was buried with only the outlet exposed. He said it lasted 20 years, and then they destroyed it. A. J. Gevaerd, our Director from Brazil, then spoke. In 1986 he quit his career as a chemistry teacher to research UFOs. He is founding Editor of Brazil's UFO magazine and Director of the Brazilian Center for Flying Saucer Research, the largest such organization in South America. They designed a "UFOs, Freedom of Information Now" campaign and asked for government files on three cases: Operation Saucer, Amazon, Sep - Dec 77; the "Night of UFOs" in Sao Paulo and Rio, 21 May 86; and the Varginha case, 20 Jan 96. These cases involved many frightening encounters in the Amazon, jets scrambled on 21 unknown objects, and a soldier suddenly dying from infection after handling a live alien. Their group visited military installations, and wrote letters and e-mails in their campaign. In January 2005 an Air Force spokesman called and said, "We are very aware of your efforts. There may be a chance to establish a connection for sharing information on UFOs." This was an official contact in response to their campaign. They met with military officials in their press room and received 300 pages, about 100 pictures, radar reports, pilot transcripts, etc. Gevaerd said they are now creating a military-civilian organization to study, evaluate, and declassify UFO cases. He said similar cooperation is happening in France, Uruguay, Spain, Belgium, Chile, China, Peru, Ecuador, and Mexico. A segment on their visit with the military was played on the Global TV Network, the 4th largest in the world. He said the military asked them for information, which they shared. He said that, fortunately, there are no more attacks on people in the Amazon like there were 20 -30 years ago. Jaime Maussan and Santiago Yturria Garza teamed up to present their latest, highly visual information from Mexico. Maussan, a TV journalist and lecturer, is well known throughout Mexico and beyond for his programs, 60 Minutes, From Sunday to Sunday, and ECO. Garza co-founded the first UFO research group in Monterrey, Mexico in 1974. He is the International Relations Representative for Mexico's UFO Magazine. Maussan opened by dedicating the presentation to Lee Elders, the man who made him believe in the reality of UFO reports. Garza said that 2005 was an extraordinary year with many interactions with entities, humanoids, and aliens. Their video showed about 200 silvery spheres in formation about 3-5000 feet up on 21 Jun 04 and another clip of 500 - 1000 similar spheres over Mexico City on 30 Jan 06. They focused on one group of 3 that was joined by a 4th as they continued moving in a fixed formation. Maussan said he presents such pictures on prime time every Sunday night and asks people to watch the skies with camera in hand. He now has hundreds of videos that he has not had time to watch. He made one presentation at the School of War in Peru and was asked, "How can we prepare the people in Peru as you have in Mexico?" He mentioned a case where angel hair came down and covered an airport for two hours, closing the airport. In January 2005 a policeman saw an object similar to the 1952 Flatwoods, Virginia "monster," and he fainted in his car. He said the "flying witch" tried to grab him. They have been getting reports of flying men since 2000, and got some on 17 Jun and 21 Feb 05. Digital cameras now record what human eyes cannot see. Videos show gray aliens in a cemetery in Sep and Nov 02. They showed a video of two boys playing soccer in a walkway. As one boy went to retrieve the ball, an alien hiding behind a light pole reached out and grabbed his arm. Scientists found "high frequency" radiation apparently coming from a "hole in the air" where the alien was, but not from the pole or ground. They also showed a series of amazing crop formations set to beautiful music. One boy with a camera had spent much time looking out of a small window. He saw five luminous, human-shaped beings "dancing or playing" in the air on 20 Nov 05. He got a similar video on 29 Jan 06, but it was not as clear. This year ten videos competed for seven of those cute EBE statues in the Film Festival. Jim Rodger volunteered to manage the festival, and several of us helped him recruit judges on Sunday during registration. We greatly appreciate all of the judges who volunteered to watch all of the films Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings starting at 7 PM. "UFO Files: Brazil's Roswell" produced by Michael Weber and directed by Paul Kimball won two EBEs for Best UFO Documentary - Short Subject and Best Animation or Special Effects in a UFO Program. "UFOs: The Best Evidence - The Government Cover-up" produced and directed by George Knapp won for Best UFO Documentary - Long Subject and for Best Historical UFO Documentary. "Alien Secrets" produced by J.J. Barmettler, Brandon Scott, & Richard Smith and directed by J.J. Barmettler won for Best Feature Film - UFO or Related Theme. "Crop Circles - Crossovers from Another Dimension" produced by Toftenes Multivision and directed by Terge Toftenes won for Best Documentary in a UFO Related Theme, and this film also won the coveted Peoples' Choice Award. The banquet was again a great social occasion and a good excuse to dress up. We appreciate the wonderful technical crew, the IUFOC Convention staff, and especially the Brown family that make this the best gathering of truth seekers in the world.
